Exciting news! Just Julia: a short story about eczema, is available now!

I'm starting to see a pattern here as I am once more breaking my blogging hiatus to let you all know that my latest short story, Just Julia: a short story about eczema, is available worldwide on Amazon NOW!

...and here is the blurb for it:

'I just need one day of not being in this body'

Julia Ross is a twenty-something woman (barely) living with eczema.
Julia Ross has been told not to scratch.
Julia Ross has been told to use coconut oil.
Julia Ross has been told it’s never going to get better.
Julia Ross doesn’t know what to do any more.
Julia Ross is tired.
Julia Ross is scared.
Julia Ross has come to the end.

Can Julia Ross reclaim her identity from her skin, or has she finally given up?

Based on the author’s own experience with eczema, this short story hits home on exactly what it's like to live with a condition most believe is only skin deep.

From the author of Curing my Incurable Eczema and Every Trich in the Book.

I began writing it on New Year's Day and found the experience to be incredibly healing as I realised recently that I was still holding onto a lot of bad memories from when I was a teenager suffering from eczema. It is loosely based on my own experience with the condition - and just so we're clear, I'm talking about eczema here and not topical steroid addiction... although you might notice the odd nod or two to it throughout the book. And whilst situations in the story have been exaggerated, it highlights how I feel eczema is currently regarded within the medical community and by others and also how skin conditions have the ability of affecting you not only physically, but mentally. They can be a trauma and I believe more needs to be done to ensure that people are being properly cared for, both in body and mind. I really hope you like it, and to any doctors or medical professionals who happen to read it, I want to say that I have immense love and respect for your profession and everything you do, but this is unfortunately what my experience was like during my formative years.

It is available worldwide on Amazon and here are the links to buy it:
