I am going to keep this short so the facts don't get lost within my usual plethora of words.
I have wanted to do a whole post about this for a while now after only briefly mentioning it in one of my 5 QUESTIONS WITH interviews (here).
In a few months time, Briana Banos, a fellow TSA sufferer that I interviewed via the link above, is hoping to start filming the FIRST EVER documentary about our condition. Preventable: Protecting Our Largest Organ, wants to shed light on the overprescription of topical steroids with the hope of spreading awareness and educating others on their effects. Some of the goals of the documentary are to:
- Unveil the suffering of victims.
- Expose the lack of education on the subject of steroids.
- Open a dialogue with doctors and researchers about Topical Steroid Addiction.
- Create an avenue towards prevention.
- Give hope to those who are enduring Topical Steroid Addiction.
- Show genuine facts and studies that have been conducted on steroids.
I am one of many people who will be featured in the documentary and so far, Briana has raised only part of what is required to make this documentary happen and she needs our help!
